PEAK Fitness introduced PEAK Fit Academy in 2010 as the premiere tool for
educating clients on how to make their bodies function as efficient, fat burning, power
producing machines. There is an athlete inside of each of us, and PEAK Fit Academy
will help you reach your optimum fitness level by providing a variety of workouts,
nutrition guidelines and detailed fitness plans – all of which are customized with your
individual fitness level and goals in mind. Your personal trainer, Yaw Owusu Jr., will
motivate and educate you every step of the way and will make sure that you reach the
peak of your potential.
Before you begin a new workout regimen you need to have a solid foundation
that will serve as your starting point, and this is what PEAK addresses. A lot of people
have physical limitations, such as a previous injury, and what PEAK does is give you the
tools to fix those problems before moving on to more physically challenging tasks.
What sets Peak Fitness apart from workout DVD’s or programs that claim to get you
results in 60 to 90 days, is that in order for those programs to work, your body already
needs to work efficiently and correctly; although you may complete those programs
you run the risk of not getting the results you expected as well as suffering injury. You
can only become a complete athlete by first correcting any imbalances you have and
then breaking through those barriers to develop strength, speed and power.
