Corrective exercise is used to improve your imbalances and injuries in order to
turn you into an invariable workout machine. Whether your goal is to lose weight, put
on muscle, or train for a specific sport, you first need to learn how to use your body
properly and increase the range of motion and flexibility in your joints and muscle
groups.
In PeakFitAcademy, we customize the workouts for you, taking into consideration your
physical condition and limitations. We will teach you how to address those limitations
so that you can increase your range of motion, flexibility and strength – all while
learning how to train your body properly so that you will prevent future injuries.
You’ll be receiving a set of exercises to be performed over the course of your first
month on the program. These exercises, if performed as prescribed, will help correct
any imbalances you may have in your shoulders, back, and hips. After the first month
of the program we will assess your progress and determine the next course of action
depending on your goals (be it to put on muscle, lose body fat, or additional corrective
exercises).
For each month-long program you will receive a strength outline, a cardio schedule
and dietary guidelines. It is important that you don’t deviate from your plan, as doing
so will impede your progress.
